Who are these women? **UPDATED/CORRECTED**

Who are Barbara and Patricia Curran and why were their old high school pictures inside an adult magazine at Fred Murray's house?

**UPDATE/CORRECTION** Patricia is now married and has a different last name. Same as her sister. Their mother is related to the Murray family, apparently.

  1. um, how would someone know this? who would "leak" this little piece of "information"? is having an "adult magazine" proof of a misdeed of some sort? I'm honestly not being critical except that it seems a little, I don't know, prurient. from Sophie Bean

  2. looks like she's on fb, older but similarities there. From 'Buzzards Bay'. also something about another Sister Colleen from Weymouth? they probably don't even know why they're in the magazine, he probably had a crush on them or something? Good friends with him, lots of that last name down near Weymouth.

  4. maybe Freds Brother put them there. It is creepy though but probably not much to it

  5. I'm confused as to why her name was "Patricia Curran" in high school but is now "Patricia Murray Curran". Was she married in high school? It would seem that Curran is her married name...

  6. What was the date on that adult magazine? Was it current or old?

  8. No issues with anyone having adult magazines. Who can judge in our day and age or so many issues we each must face with our own imperfections.

Further, no issues - as we see now - with the clippings of the sisters. In laws of Fred's.

Barring, however, that they may have gotten there by accident or something like that, a distinctly poor flavor arises from the clippings of the young girls being filed away in the porn collection.

Many small things in this case can be assembled into a coherent and disturbing picture of Fred. This is heightened by indications that he knows more than reveals. But we must remember that there is a lot about the man and what happened to Maura that we don't know and thus that picture of Fred only speculative.

  11. the old saying is follw the money .In this case the currency is mauras emotional pain from her erliest memories. follow the money and who pops up every time? lets just say father knows best. if it were my daughter missing i would work with those given the task of finding her, not hinder . i would not try to make this a one man crusade/thinking me and the F.B.I were the only ones capable.I would have trusted and worked with state police and local authorities who have spent thousands of unpaid hours looking for my daughter.I would embrace the many locals doing the same to this day .my personal feelings would be set aside.i would actualy try to help anyone who was trying to help me . I would realize that some of the "dirt bags" may be undercover police or private citizen placeing themselves in harms way to gather intell.i would give a great big thank you to everyone who has looked for my daughter. over the years i have noticed that those who cry loudest have the most regrets. i would not try to releave regrets by faulting everyone invovled exept me.follow the money I'm just saying

  12. There seems to be an awful lot of backlash directed at Mr. Murray. Some feel he was insensitive to law enforcement, search volunteers and local residents. Is it possible that some of these items at his old address have been staged as revenge?

  13. While this is strange, my grandparents were "hoarders" of sorts, and they put stuff in every strange crook and cranny you could find. I could totally see them picking up a few family photos from the ground and stuffing them in the first magazine that they see. Still...weird.
